Olin College of Engineering offers a Certificate in Engineering Studies for students at Wellesley College, Brandeis University and Babson College who wish to gain a foundation in engineering content, skills, and perspectives, as well as some depth in one engineering field. The structure of this certificate gives students the flexibility to create course plans that meet their interests and needs.
Students wishing to enroll in the certificate program must submit their Certificate Program Enrollment Form after successfully completing one course at Olin and prior to enrolling in their final course. Certificates will only be awarded upon completion of an approved plan.
Babson Certificate in Management
Olin College, Brandeis University, and Wellesley College students can earn a Certificate in Management from Babson College. The certificate is intended for students who wish to gain a business perspective in a particular area of interest. Students must successfully complete three Babson courses (12 credits) which have been approved by Babson.
Students are expected to choose a set of courses that are cohesive in some manner and build onto their own academic and career goals. The expectations are that students choose primarily from courses that are in Babson's business portfolio.
Students are expected to consult with their home institution(s) regarding their course selection to make sure their choices align with their degree requirements.
Students must complete an application and receive approval from Babson on the courses in order to be eligible for the certification. After successful completion, students will have a transcript notation along with a signed certificate from the college.
