The Weissman Foundry, a newly-launched strategic venture between Babson, Olin, and Wellesley Colleges (BOW), was created to nurture a new “4th culture” - a creative design community and mash-up of everything that is distinct about each college. The Foundry is an inclusive space where innovators-of-all-kinds from the BOW Community can collaborate and create.
As a Scout, you are critical in building the creative, safe and inclusive BOW Foundry culture. You are a student leader and mentor. You are part of, and are helping to develop, the Foundry brand. You are a cross-departmental ambassador and liaison to all the BOW colleges. The Scout position was created to enable and support members of the BOW Community. It is a select program for professional, collaboration-minded BOW students who wish to co-lead this complex and rewarding venture. The Foundry prioritizes having a diverse Scout workforce, who represent the many backgrounds, identities, disciplines and departments within BOW. Having the broadest diversity allow Scouts to contribute a wide array of perspectives and skills to support an inclusive, fun and creative culture and community.
